Leading kitchen manufacturer, Moores, has recently started work on a new development with ethical housebuilder, MMC Eco Homes.
Moores has been striving towards improving its impressive credentials and aims to work with other like-minded partners and suppliers in the housebuilding industry that also prioritise sustainable operation.
MMC Eco Homes ethos is building better homes for a brighter, greener future, while also making homes more affordable by building them 10 times quicker than traditional builds. Using the latest modern methods and utilising the most advanced technologies in renewable energies, the partnership saw the two companies aligned over a shared goal.
For the first stage of the partnership, Moores has completed a kitchen installation at one of the housebuilder’s show homes in Newcastle under Lyme. Starring the Vita Haze range, this kitchen has a cost-effective price point without compromising on style and simplicity. Paired with Moores’ Tippo Grey worktops and upstands, the aim was a timeless, modest finish that will suit interior tastes for years to come. As the sole supplier, Moores will start to install brand-new kitchens in every home in the development over the coming months.
Nick Houlden, business development manager and account manager for the Moores BID team, commented: “This collaboration between Moores and MMC Eco Homes is really exciting for us. The opportunity to work with a housebuilder that matches our dedication to sustainability means we are another step further towards being industry leaders in sustainability projects.”
Ciaran Walshe, CEO of MMC Eco Homes, added: “With the rapid advancements in modular housing, MMC Eco Homes prides itself on a strong commitment to excellence and sustainability. We see Moores as the perfect complement to our vision, creating homes that are not only beautiful but built to last.”
